Henry McKinley, Entech Creative' Systems Shop Manager
Henry McKinley has been with Entech Creative for more than two years and in that time has proven to be an invaluable member of our technical and systems team. Henry brings experience in electrical and systems troubleshooting, CAD Drafting, and PLC & Touch screen programming, and having served four years in the US Navy troubleshooting and repairing missile launch and fire control interfaces, Henry’s tactical approach to efficient problem solving means that Entech’s Systems shop runs like a well oiled machine.
Stepping into the back room of the office where the shop is located, you’ll undoubtedly hear classical music from the custom built stereo. It is from this shop that Henry and his team have worked on several key projects, including Space Ship Earth, Simpson’s Ride, Hard Rock Honolulu’s Waikiki Wave, and many of our roller coaster control systems, including those for Star Liner, Cypress Gardens/Kima Coaster, and Kima Texas/Ridge Rider.
“There’s no obstacle I can’t overcome,” said Henry recently. This might sound like hot air to anyone who doesn’t know his record. On his most memorable job, the Simpson’s ride, Henry and his seven man team completed all of the systems work on this large project on time and above the client’s expectation. To date, not a single electrical or systems problem has been reported on any of Henry’s work, even with thousands of duty cycles already complete.
If you’re wondering who’s working on your electrical and control systems, if it’s Entech, it just might be Henry. Henry, we salute you.
