JOHN MARHOEFER, P.E.
CO-FOUNDER / CHIEF ENGINEER
John Marhoefer, Chief Engineer of Entech Creative Industries, brings over twenty years of experience and skill in developing successful projects for the entertainment and leisure industries. John’s focus on serving client interests coupled with a demonstrated technical ability has resulted in numerous achievements. With a professional background in mechanical and structural design, John also possesses a broad base of knowledge and experience in electrical power control and hydraulic systems. This allows him to successfully manage the integration of a wide variety of disciplines into successful cohesive project teams, a vital asset when creating complex and creative icons and environments.
John attributes his accomplishments in large measure to the rigid discipline of his early training in a traditional, “old-school” engineering arena. This experience instilled in John the business tenets, which became the cornerstone of Entech’s commitment to customer service, accountability and attention to detail. His early experience was further honed by his subsequent work roles, which required more responsibility and capabilities, including those of Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Director of Engineering. Prior to the establishment of Entech, John served as Vice President of Operations for a custom show action equipment manufacturer.
John attended Lehigh University on scholarship and graduated with a BSCE degree. He also holds an MBA from the distinguished Crummer School of Business at Rollins College and is a registered professional engineer in the states of Florida, Pennsylvania & Texas. John is a certified general contractor in the state of Florida and is the registered agent for the firm’s contracting activities.
